Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Senior Public Relations & Communications Specialist to craft press materials, respond to media inquiries, and manage Carnival's newsroom in South Florida. You will coordinate media events, monitor coverage, and support executives with tailored storytelling across outlets.

The role requires 5+ years in PR/communications, a bachelor's in PR or related field, and excellent writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to work well under pressure with high level of productivity.
• Ability to respond with a high degree of professionalism and tailored responses demonstrating Carnival products, features, and itineraries.
• Team player with ability to communicate across departments and executives.
• Comfortable managing shifting priorities and strong PR/online media communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Create press materials including press releases, speeches, pitch emails, and articles for executives.
• Manage media relations and press familiarization, organize journalist sailings and events.
• Respond to media inquiries and monitor media inbox; participate in weekend on-call rotation.
• Track media coverage and prepare daily/internal reports; support crisis communications.
