Job summary

QTS Realty Trust, a global data center leader, seeks a Senior Public Relations Manager to lead public and analyst relations and strengthen the company’s brand. You will collaborate with marketing operations, public policy and agencies to craft compelling narratives for the public, prospects and customers.

You will oversee media relations, respond to press inquiries, and support executive communications and crisis response while tracking industry trends to shape strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in public/media relations.
• AP style and ability to create compelling public content.
• Experience with technology or data center industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data-driven public relations strategies.
• Create and lead PR content across channels including press releases and media materials.
• Lead the development of proactive narratives and proof points at national and community levels.
• Execute analyst relations strategy with industry analysts, agencies, and vendors.
• Serve as main point-of-contact in media interviews, briefings and press inquiries.
• Support recruitment and employer brand campaigns.
• Develop crisis communications plans and provide strategic counsel.
• Track and report data on media coverage, sentiment, and industry trends.
