Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES in the United States (Ohio) seeks an experienced Powertrain Test Engineer to lead validation and testing of engines, transmissions, hybrids, and electrified propulsion. You will plan, execute, analyze, and report tests that support product development, performance, durability, emissions compliance, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years automotive powertrain testing experience (Mid-Level) or 5+ years (Senior).
• Experience with ICE, Hybrid, or EV propulsion systems.
• Knowledge of automotive development processes and validation standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute powertrain test plans for engines, transmissions, driveline, hybrid and EV propulsion systems.
• Conduct performance, durability, reliability, thermal, NVH, emissions, and calibration validation tests.
• Support vehicle-level and dynamometer-based testing activities.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, calibration, controls, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Validate compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal engineering requirements.
• Prepare test reports, engineering documentation, and management presentations.
• Support issue investigation, troubleshooting, DVP&R execution, and product launch activities.
• Coordinate test schedules, instrumentation setup, and laboratory resources.
