Job summary
PACCAR Powertrain in Lewisville, TX is seeking a highly capable Powertrain Controls Engineer to develop and integrate advanced powertrain functionalities. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in controls development and systems engineering.
- Strong embedded systems knowledge and control architectures.
- Proficiency with model-based development using Simulink.
- Experience with HIL testing and embedded software validation.
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end systems engineering for powertrain functionalities.
- Design and implement new features with architecture team.
- Develop and maintain control function architectures.
- Participate in software peer reviews and safety assessments.
- Provide technical leadership in advanced technologies.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to define requirements.
- Support testing and validation, troubleshoot issues.
- Drive process improvements in MBSE and HIL testing.
