Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead PowerBuilder Developer in Albany, NY to lead development, maintenance, and modernization of large PowerBuilder-based applications. You will work with PFC, PowerScript, and DataWindows, and will maintain Oracle database components including PL/SQL procedures and packages.

Independent work in a mature codebase with minimal onboarding is required. The role requires guiding teams, diagnosing production issues, and documenting architecture and deployment

Qualifications

• 84 months practical, real-world PowerBuilder experience in enterprise apps.
• 84 months experience with PowerBuilder Foundation Classes (PFC) and extending/ customizing PFC ancestor objects and services.
• 84 months experience developing PowerBuilder apps with Oracle database, including PL/SQL stored procedures and packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day development, maintenance, and support of PowerBuilder applications.
• Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements using PFC, including DataWindows and PowerScript."
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across application and database layers; act as escalation point.
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into application changes.
• Document code structure, business rules, and deployment procedures.
• Support modernization efforts by sharing knowledge with modernization teams and ensuring stability during transition.
• Transfer knowledge to State staff as needed.
