Job summary

Yakshna Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior-level PowerBuilder developer to support and maintain the IRMS legacy system and implement the GenTax-IRMS interface in Richmond, VA. The role requires expertise in PowerBuilder, relational databases, and interface development.

Qualifications

• Experience developing PowerBuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher.

Job Summary

Virginia Tax is seeking an experienced, senior‑level PowerBuilder developer to provide analysis, support, and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system, as well as development and implementation of the GenTax‑IRMS interface under the direction of the Virginia Department of Taxation management.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively in a team environment to analyze, support, maintain the IRMS legacy system, and develop and implement the GenTax‑IRMS interface. Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation of PowerBuilder applications.

Required Skills

• Experience developing PowerBuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases such as Oracle 19C or higher, MySQL, or similar.
• Experience developing interfaces to FileNet applications.
• Experience developing interfaces to REST APIs.
• Design and develop clear and maintainable code.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

100 k–110 k per annum with benefits.
