Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, New York seeks a senior semiconductor power product engineer to support yield and performance of power devices. You will work on complex problems and drive solutions in response to product deviations, while tracking yield to enable predictable starts and fab stability.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, strong data analysis skills, and experience with DOE, statistical analysis, and process control.

Qualifications

• BS required in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum five years with a BS or three years with an MS.
• Experience in semiconductor die-level test.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor yield and device performance to meet customer commitments.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for parametric shifts.
• Analyze electrical tests and feedback deviations to stakeholders.
• Drive cross-team problem solving across process, flows, and product.
• Coordinate with planning to align yield roadmap and start requirements.
• Develop data-driven solutions and prevent quality excursions.
