Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a semiconductor product engineer to support yield and performance of power products. You will analyze device performance, monitor yield, and drive cross-functional problem solving to address root causes.

The role requires a BS in a relevant engineering field; advanced degree preferred, with 3 years of experience (or 1 year with a Masters) and a solid grasp of semiconductor processes and device physics. This position emphasizes data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/ Chemical/ Materials Science or equivalent.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 3 years with BS or 1 year with MS; understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process control, including a passion for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor yield performance and device health to enable stable starts.
• Track and analyze key device parameters to identify root causes of deviations.
• Drive problem solving across process, flows, and product teams.
• Respond to deviations in product lines and customer concerns and drive to root cause.
• Develop solutions to problems using structured problem-solving tools.
• Support planning to predict yield outcomes and product starts.
