Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, NC, is seeking a senior semiconductor product engineer to support yield and performance of power products. You will work on complex problems, drive solutions to product deviations, and track yield performance to enable predictable starts, planning and fab stability.

You will monitor device health through data analysis, lead root-cause investigations, and collaborate with process, design and planning teams to prevent excursions and improve overall product quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years experience with BS or 3+ years with MS.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in semiconductor die level test/final test.
• Proven track record of technical leadership.
• Experience in DOE, statistical analysis, and process control.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor yield and device performance to meet customer commitments.
• Perform data analysis to identify root causes of parametric shifts.
• Analyze power device electrical tests and report deviations.
• Drive problem solving across process, flows, and product teams.
• Respond to deviations and customer concerns, pursuing root causes.
• Collaborate with planning to align yield roadmap and start inputs.
• Develop structured solutions using problem-solving tools.
• Prevent quality excursions by monitoring performance and data.
