Job summary

Doble Engineering Company seeks a Senior Client Service Engineer to deliver expert technical and application support for power utility customers under a Doble Service Agreement.

Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally is required; position may be located at the Marlborough, MA facility or a remote office, reporting to the Senior Director of Client Service. Strong communication and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering is preferred; alternative technical training with utility experience will be considered.
• 5 years of utility or similar experience focused on power apparatus is required.
• Familiarity with Doble products and the power utility industry is expected.
• Ability to diagnose high-voltage power apparatus and deliver customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support on Doble products, analysis of test results, training and consultation on power apparatus
• Support Research & Development relating to application and product development
• Publish technical articles and participate in technical conferences sponsored by Doble and other industry organizations
• Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a particular discipline
• Engage in more advanced diagnostic areas of expertise
• Write technical reports for diagnostic analysis with no review required in most cases
• Provide training to Doble Clients at a high level
• Responsible for all custom agenda planning and scheduling decisions
• Provide expertise to others in the CS department as well as to other departments within Doble, and make appropriate decisions regarding that internal support
