Associated Bank seeks a Portfolio Manager, AVP - Power & Utilities in Chicago to manage underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio oversight across power project finance and utility relationships. The role spans the full transaction lifecycle from due diligence to closing.

You will analyze financial statements, build models, monitor risk, and collaborate with relationship managers, credit teams and legal partners to ensure sound portfolio management and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of commercial banking, corporate banking, commercial real estate banking, specialized banking, or credit approval experience.
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and underwrite new financing opportunities within the power, utilities, and project finance sectors.
• Prepare credit applications, opportunity memos, annual reviews, and loan amendments or modifications.
• Conduct due diligence by reviewing financial statements, financial models, market studies, engineering reports, project contracts, and legal analyses.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including financial metrics, covenant compliance, risk ratings, and reporting requirements.
• Develop financial projections and models, including cash flow, debt financing, and tax structure analyses.
