Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a senior engineer for the Silicon Design for Productization (DFP)team to advance power and thermal productization across ASIC/SoC programs. You will lead cross-functional teams, define controller designs, and drive silicon issue resolution from hypothesis through root cause closure.

The role emphasizes ownership, first-principles reasoning, and building AI-enabled workflows to accelerate bring-up, characterization, and validation while shaping release criteria for power and thermal

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of proven post-silicon bring-up and validation of power and thermal features on ASIC/SoC programs.
Strong end-to-end understanding of silicon behavior across architecture, firmware, validation, and platform interactions, with expertise in power and thermal domains.

Responsibilities

Lead effort across multi-functional teams to keep power/thermal productization strategy executable and on track.
Create methodology and silicon test plan-based controller designs and architecture, including validation processes and lab requirements.
Drive resolution for challenging silicon issues through structured hypotheses, measurement plans, and root-cause closure.
Steward the power/thermal playbook, crafting new mitigations and reusable methods when required.
