Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Client Platform group to lead power management, thermal regulation, and performance optimization on SoC-based platforms. You will architect software, drive cross-team initiatives, and influence OEM partners through program execution.

You’ll work from architecture to productization, owning energy goals and delivering robust, scalable power/thermal solutions across platforms. This role requires strong leadership and deep technical depth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in system software with 5+ years on SoC/platform power management.
• Deep expertise in SoC/GPU/CPU power management: C-states, DVFS, power gating.
• Proven track record delivering Power/Thermal software goals on real products.
• Strong multi-functional leadership to align engineering teams and partners.
• Proficiency in C and OS internals; excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement SoC power and thermal control software modules.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex Power/Thermal issues.
• Own end-to-end software for a Client SoC product line.
• Coordinate with firmware, kernel/driver teams, and OEM SW for energy goals.
