Job summary

Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems (EESS) Division is seeking a Lead Power Systems Training Specialist to join our internal training team in Houston, TX. Relocation assistance is available.

The role develops, delivers, and facilitates instructor‑led and virtual trainings on power systems, safety, and related topics. You will create curricula, coordinate training events, work with EHS, HR, and Operations, and evaluate courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent technical certification with 4+ years' power systems experience, or 7+ years without degree.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas.
• NFPA 70E and OSHA electrical safety knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and facilitate instructor‑led and virtual trainings.
• Support and coordinate training events including setup, scheduling, travel, equipment, and materials.
• Create, maintain curricula, lesson plans, and classroom reference materials.
• Collaborate with EHS, HR, and Operations leaders to align training with safety and onboarding needs.
• Conduct student evaluations, course evaluations, cost tracking, and program improvements.
• Apply NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S safety knowledge.
• Support in‑person training at other Eaton hub locations as needed.
