You will contribute to EMT/IBR modeling, renewable integration, and engineering software for the New England power grid, with a focus on reliability and innovation. The role requires a PhD in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years for Senior and 8+ years for Lead; expertise in stability, modeling, and analysis, and proficiency with PSS/E, PSCAD, DSATools, and PowerWorld.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on power system stability and control.
• Experience with IBR/EMT modeling and analysis.
• Proficiency with PSS/E, PSCAD, DSATools, PowerWorld.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enhance operations and planning software solutions for ISO systems.
• Evaluate and roadmap renewable integration tools and studies.
• Provide EMT modeling and study support.
• Design and prototype innovative engineering and software solutions for multiple ISO business units.
