Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of job-related experience
• Knowledge of NEC/NESC and NERC standards
• Licensed Professional Engineer (or able by comity) in hiring state
• ETAP preferred
• Bluebeam, Outlook, MS Office knowledge
• Experience in substations, distribution, and industrial installations
• Ability to prepare fee proposals and reports
• Work independently or under supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and implementation of protection schemes for substations, distribution systems, and industrial facilities
• Perform system studies and coordinate relay settings
• Review designs for accuracy and code compliance
• Serve as technical authority and provide guidance to teams
• Expand and mentor the protection capabilities and team
• Collaborate across disciplines on sustainable projects and firm strategy
• Conduct project interviews and client relationship development
• Oversee contract administration and on-site observation during construction
• Ensure quality control and documentation
