Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of job-related experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NESC codes.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain by comity) in the hiring state.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems analysis software (ETAP preferred).
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Outlook and MS Office.
• Experience in substations, distribution, and industrial installations with code compliance.
• Ability to prepare proposals, studies and reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform studies such as short-circuit, load-flow, coordination and grounding.
• Develop protection schemes for substations and industrial installations.
• Produce protective relay settings and files using vendor software.
• Apply NERC-PRC standards to relay coordination and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a growing protection team and collaborate across disciplines.
• Review construction documents and participate in site observations.
