Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience in electrical systems studies.
• Master’s degree with 2 years of related experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes complex assignments requiring advanced electrical engineering techniques to develop new or improved processes, equipment, or methods.
• Develop and evaluate plans for major projects and assess feasibility of proposed applications.
• Coordinate departmental or divisional project studies, reports, or project design assignments.
• Perform power system studies and protection settings coordination on projects up to 500 kV.
• Develop design basis documentation for protective settings and generate native relay configuration files.
• Provide engineering guidance, conduct design reviews, and support quality control.
• Act as primary client contact and support project management on scope and design.
• Lead multiple engineering teams on design and scope for multiple projects.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives.
