Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead multi-project efforts in power engineering, including substation, transmission, and distribution design. You will direct other engineers, coordinate with teams, and ensure designs meet quality, schedule, and client expectations.

You will mentor staff, develop engineering solutions, and deliver detailed drawings, analyses, and reports for PEC’s client projects, often requiring collaboration across disciplines and travel

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with utility transmission and/or distribution projects.
• PE license in the location of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project execution on time and on budget, directing other design professionals.
• Develop electrical drawings and documents including one-line drawings, schematics, and power plans.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and internal/external clients.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff.
• Travel as needed for projects, training, or other duties.
