Qualifications

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power system studies is required.
• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in power industry and modeling using PSSE and PSLF.
• Experience with production cost analysis using GridView is required.
• Minimum 5 years in grid planning within key RTOs/ISOs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced analytical tools for investment decisions in power generation.
• Simulate operation of power systems to evaluate reliability and congestion.
• Develop hypotheses on power system economics to maximize societal benefits.
• Create PCM study scenarios and prepare detailed reports of findings.
• Conduct additional power system studies to improve system understanding.
