Lake Superior Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Generation to join our growing team. This high-impact technical leadership role focuses on solving complex electrical design challenges across Oil & Gas, Renewables, Data Centers, and Power Generation, with hybrid or remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in technical leadership roles and supporting industrial facilities.
• Experience using SKM or ETAP; NEC/NFPA 70E/IEEE/API/AGA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderate to large-scale electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor for project teams.
• Design electrical service interconnects in coordination with local utilities.
• Prepare specifications for electrical equipment procurement, installation and testing.
• Perform system studies, detailed design, design reviews, and field investigations.
• Use SKM or ETAP for modeling and analysis; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support proposal development, cost estimating and business development.
