Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Approximately 10–15 years of relevant power systems engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with utility, industrial, or large commercial power systems.
• Experience performing field investigations, condition assessments, and commissioning support.
• Familiarity with IEEE, NFPA, ANSI, NESC, and NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior engineer and project manager on power system and substation engineering projects.
• Conduct site inspections and field investigations to verify existing physical, electrical, and wiring conditions.
• Interface directly with clients to understand requirements, develop solutions, maintain strong relationships, and lead project execution, schedule management, and budget performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, design criteria, and procurement packages.
• Support equipment specification, material procurement, vendor coordination, and construction/commissioning activities.
