Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer with High Voltage protection and control expertise to shape power infrastructure. You will lead project teams, develop protection settings, and ensure reliability while interfacing with clients.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and delivering quality results on schedule. Hybrid work with regular on‑site presence at the Boonton, NJ office.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• 5–8 years in relay protection engineering
• P.E. license or EIT
• Experience with IEC 61850/GOOSE preferred
• Proficiency with ASPEN, SKM, EasyPower, ETAP, or similar

Responsabilidades

• Lead or contribute to Protection & Control projects
• Develop and review protection settings designs
• Perform coordination and short‑circuit studies
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Interface with customers as Owner’s Engineer (OE)
• Provide field support, troubleshooting, and testing
