Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Power Systems Engineer in Houston, TX for a contract-to-hire engagement. The role requires 5+ years in electrical engineering and power systems, with hands-on experience in SEL, ABB, and R Taks power management systems and in writing structured text for power controllers.

The position is fully onsite in Houston, with up to 25% travel. A strong background in ETAP, SKM, MCC, motor control centers, and switchgear is preferred, along with industrial experience and a solid

Qualifications

5-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and power systems.
3+ years of experience working with SEL / R Taks equipment and power management systems.
3+ years of experience writing structured text.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and power management solutions.
Work with SEL, ABB, and R Taks power management systems.
Write and maintain structured text for power management systems.
Travel up to 25% of the time to various project offices.
