Job summary

Revamp Engineering, Inc. seeks a Power Systems Engineer III in Durango, CO to lead grid integration studies for solar PV and BESS projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets across multiple projects, mentor junior staff, and communicate technical trade-offs to clients.

Independent leadership is expected with strong collaboration. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in power systems analysis, and proficiency with ETAP/CDEGS/CYMCAP/PSS/E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certificate or PE licensure is desirable.
• 5+ years in power systems analysis.
• Proficient with power systems analysis tools (ETAP/CDEGS/CYMCAP/PSS/E/PSLF).

Responsibilities

• Lead system studies: short circuit, arc flash, load flows, ampacity, grounding, harmonics, power quality.
• Design collection systems (cable routing and sizing).
• Create equipment specs for PV, BESS, transformers, BOS components.
• Write reports and present study findings and value.
• Mentor junior engineers and direct project tasks.
• Support client interaction and proposals.
