Placements24 is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize electrical power systems across large infrastructure projects. The role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and safety of the grid, with emphasis on power flow, protection schemes, and grid integration of renewables.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) with 6+ years of experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems specialization.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in power system analysis, design and operation.
• Experience with renewable energy integration is advantageous.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) designation is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform power flow, short circuit, and stability analyses for the electrical grid.
• Design and implement protection schemes and coordination studies for power systems.
• Develop specifications for power system equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and relays.
• Evaluate and integrate renewable energy sources into the existing power infrastructure.
• Conduct studies for grid connection of new generation facilities and large industrial loads.
• Develop and review technical reports, project documentation, and compliance submissions.
• Provide technical expertise and support for operational issues and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with planning, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure system integrity.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in power system engineering.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge within the team.
