Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
- 12+ years of utility, transmission, substation, or power systems experience.
- Experience with high-voltage systems ranging from 69kV through 500kV.
- Familiarity with IEEE, NESC, NEC, and utility design practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects involving substations, transmission, protection and control, and grid infrastructure.
- Perform engineering studies, technical evaluations, and system assessments.
- Develop scopes, specifications, design criteria, and engineering recommendations.
- Coordinate design activities across planning to closeout and assist optimization initiatives.
- Present findings to leadership and support capital budgeting and prioritization.
