Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree if offered in lieu of the BS.
- 8 years related work experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
Responsibilities
- Perform dynamic stability, EMT, and other advanced power system analyses for transmission studies.
- Support reliability assessments for expansion plans, large interconnections, and generation interconnections.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance on modeling practices, and project oversight.
- Coordinate with MISO and PJM planning organizations for regional planning and study assumptions.
- Lead review of methodologies, results, and deliverables by consultants and internal teams.
- Participate in site visits, testing, and commissioning support to verify study assumptions.
