Job summary

TheTalentos is seeking a Senior Power Engineer to lead the design and development of power electronics for electric generation, transmission and distribution products. You will run simulations, select components, and supervise schematic capture and board layout in a collaborative team setting.

Required is a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in switch-mode power supplies, and hands-on experience with 400V class converters, AC-DC/DC-DC-AC topologies, and magnetic design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required for candidacy.
• 7+ years designing switch-mode power supplies and 400V class converters.
• Experience with power topologies: AC-DC (PFC), isolated DC-DC, DC-AC.
• Magnetic design including transformers/inductors and filter design.
• Power component selection and analog feedback design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in research, design and development of power products for electric generation, transmission and distribution.
• Run simulations to evaluate designs and oversee schematic capture and board layout supervision.
• Design, troubleshoot, validate 400V class switching power converters, inverters and amplifiers.
• Develop schematics and supervise board layout; ensure EMC and safety compliance.
• Maintain existing products, obsolescence planning and new feature additions.
