Job summary

Generac is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, programming, and testing of automation controls for power generation systems. You will develop PLC and SCADA solutions, create HMIs, and perform startup commissioning while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates hold a BSEE with 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, familiar with Rockwell/AB and other major platforms, and able to work across cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field is preferred 5+ years’ experience with programming Industrial controls, PLC’s, HMI’s and Industrial communication protocols.
