Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in power system analysis to focus on arc flash studies, short circuit and load flow analysis, and protective device coordination for complex industrial, transportation, aerospace, and data center environments.

You will work with SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, ETAP, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Revu to model systems, run studies, and prepare technical reports that guide design, protection, operation, and maintenance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
2+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems.
Hands-on experience with SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, or ETAP.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF/document management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed power system models for industrial, transportation/rail, aerospace, manufacturing, and data center projects.
Perform load flow and short circuit studies for new and existing electrical systems.
Develop and refine protective device coordination studies.
Perform arc flash hazard calculations and assist with mitigation recommendations.
Support harmonic studies and other power quality analyses.
Conduct field investigations and collect electrical system data.
Prepare detailed power system study reports and technical recommendations.
Review studies and designs for compliance with NFPA 70E, IEEE, and NEC requirements.
