Job summary

LS ELECTRIC America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Engineer (Power System) to support estimation, review, and documentation for MV/LV electrical distribution projects. The role involves preparing specifications, drawings, and compliance reports, and evaluating designs for feasibility and efficiency.

You will work with sales, PM, and procurement teams to select appropriate equipment. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in power system estimation and documentation, strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of power system estimation, technical review, and project documentation experience.
Experience with MV/LV electrical distribution systems.
Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, IEC, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E, and UL standards.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for project assessments and meetings.

Responsibilities

Assist in estimation and costing for power system projects.
Prepare and review technical documents, specs, drawings, and compliance reports.
Conduct evaluations of power system designs for feasibility and standards compliance.
Analyze bid documents to support technical and commercial strategies.
Provide technical support to sales, project management, and procurement teams.
Ensure solutions align with relevant industry regulations (ANSI/IEEE/IEC/NEC).
Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and training materials.
