Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
• Ability to safely set up power presses and related machinery.
• 5+ years of power press setup experience.
• Capable of walking, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies in power press machinery as directed by supervisor.
• Submit parts for First Piece Inspection after each setup.
• Load coils on press machinery using lifting devices and operate presses.
• Provide operators with safety setup instructions and required supplies.
• Inspect parts per blueprint specifications and complete paperwork.
• Report problems to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe Power Press Department environment.
• Assemble and unassemble die sets under supervision.
• Seek improvements and propose to supervisor for approval.
• Perform maintenance on department equipment.
