Job summary

Jobgether in the United States is seeking an experienced Power Platform and BI lead to design and implement enterprise-grade solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure. You will oversee Power Apps interfaces, Power BI models, and data integration across SQL Server and data warehouses, ensuring security, performance, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in application development, reporting, or BI.
• At least 4 years developing Power Apps.
• At least 4 years building Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and enterprise data modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, T‑SQL, SSMS, including query performance tuning.
• Experience with Power BI data gateways and refresh strategies.
• Experience designing row‑level security and access models.
• Experience with Git and GitHub, including branching strategies.
• Experience building accessible applications/reports per Section 508 standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others.
• At least 3 years working in Agile.
• Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical).
• Willingness to obtain Public Trust clearance after hiring.
• Availability to work full-time remote in the United States.
• Candidates with military experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and ongoing improvement of Power Platform apps and BI solutions.
• Define architectures and objectives considering performance, usability, scalability, and security.
• Design and maintain Power Apps UIs for enterprise systems hosted in Azure.
• Architect Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards with advanced DAX and Power Query.
• Oversee data integration with SQL Server and data warehouses with daily refreshes.
• Manage Power BI gateways, refresh strategies, and troubleshooting.
• Lead data quality analysis and coordinate upstream remediation.
• Establish RBAC and row-level security for apps and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Optimize models and reports for large datasets and high user volumes.
• Lead requirements analysis and estimate development effort.
• Participate in PI Planning and backlog refinement.
• Establish source control and CI/CD practices using GitHub and related tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document software design and architecture.
• Support security reviews and ATO compliance.
• Conduct code/design reviews and maintain SDLC docs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and analysts.
