Peraton seeks a Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and manage low‑code solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for the Investment Management Branch within PRMD. You will collaborate with analysts and backend developers, oversee knowledge management, and mentor junior staff, with duties spanning architecture discussions and governance

Qualifikationen

• 5 years with BS/BA; 9 years with a high school diploma.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong troubleshooting, optimization, and problem-solving skills across apps, flows, reports, and data connections.
• Proven security and governance capability, including role-based security, Power BI row-level security (RLS), workspace governance, naming conventions, and platform/environment strategy.
• Have or obtain favorable Tier 3 investigation.
• Have or obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security + CE) before start date.
• Government contract requires person possess proof of U.S. citizenship.

• Design, develop, and manage applications using the Microsoft Power Platform suite including Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Deep understanding of SQL, MS Dataverse, and underlying data structures.
• Power Apps: Build production‑ready canvas or model‑driven apps.
• Power Apps: Implement advanced formulas and component libraries.
• Power Apps: Integrate multiple data sources and manage relational data in Dataverse.
• Power Apps: Use custom connectors and environment variables.
• Power Apps: Implement role‑based security and ALM basics (Dev/Test/Prod).
• Power Automate: Design multi‑step, branching flows with error handling.
• Power Automate: Work with approvals, expressions, advanced conditions.
• Power Automate: Build flows that integrate systems across the business.
• Power Automate: Troubleshoot performance, concurrency, retry policies.
• Power BI: Build and share insightful reports, apply data visualization best practices.
• Power BI: Develop executive dashboards, ensure data accuracy and insights.
• Power BI: Write intermediate DAX measures (time intelligence, CALCULATE).
• Power BI: Automate refreshes and use gateway connections.
• Power BI: Use Power Query for data shaping and cleaning.
• Power BI: Apply row-level security (RLS) and workspace governance.
• General / Platform: Apply best practices for naming, security, solution structure.
• General / Platform: Understand licensing implications and environment strategy.
• General / Platform: Participate in architectural discussions.
• General / Platform: Troubleshoot and optimize apps, flows, and reports.
• Collaborate with business analysts, backend developers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Oversee organizational knowledge management, including SOP creation, storage, sharing, and content lifecycle governance.
• Track and report KPIs to assess performance of knowledge management and process automation systems.
• Provide training and support for junior staff using Power Platform tools.
• Strong communication and ability to lead cross-functional development initiatives.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Prior DHA, Military Health System, or DoD experience desired.
• Work Hours: Monday-Friday 0800-1600 (flexible).
• Travel: occasional travel may be required to support customer events and meetings.
