Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a large combined cycle power generation facility in Florida. You will lead daily operations and maintenance, supervise personnel on a rotating 12-hour shift, and drive safe, reliable plant performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating outages, contractor activities, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance, while mentoring staff and managing procedures and reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of power generation experience.
• 5+ years of leadership or Control Room Operator experience.
• Knowledge of gas and steam turbine operations.
• Experience with outages, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with OSHA, environmental compliance, and NERC.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and maintenance personnel on rotating shift.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation while complying with regulations.
• Coordinate contractor activities, outages, training programs, and daily work schedules.
• Lead incident investigations, troubleshooting efforts, and corrective action plans.
• Manage inventory, budgets, operational procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Serve as a key point of contact during outages and emergency response situations.
• Support workforce development through training, mentoring, and performance management.
