You will lead Technicians, coordinate contractor activities, and ensure safe, reliable plant performance while meeting environmental and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes training, scheduling, and incident response, with accountability for meeting dispatch schedules and plant load demands within a 12-hour rotating shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering or related degree desirable.
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in power plant operations, including five (5) years in supervision or as a Control Room Operator.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Operations Technicians in safe, effective plant operation and maintenance.
• Coordinates and oversees daily work of Seminole and contractor personnel during and after normal hours.
• Develops training programs to ensure compliance with Seminole requirements.
• Coordinates and participates in daily plant activities with other supervisors.
• Assists in formulating annual O&M / Capital budgets and work plans.
• Manages supervised employee work performance and schedules.
• Maintains inventory of materials and chemicals for uninterrupted operation.
• Acts as incident commander for plant emergencies and oversees LOTO program.
