Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to own the design, build, and operation of a gas-turbine power plant. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team through installation, commissioning, startup, and long-term maintenance, ensuring reliable plant performance and field execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years in gas turbine commissioning/operations (or 14+ years in related utility-scale roles).
• 2+ years of project management experience leading operations.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a multi-disciplinary power plant team spanning gas turbines, mechanical and electrical balance of plant, controls, and commissioning.
• Own the full lifecycle of gas turbine power generation assets — installation, commissioning, startup, operations, and long-term maintenance.
• Set technical direction and execution plans for commissioning, including combustion tuning, control system checkout, protective relay testing, and performance/reliability run verification.
• Own root-cause analysis and corrective action for turbine trips, outages, and performance degradation; drive fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Establish and continuously improve operating procedures, startup/shutdown sequences, and abnormal operating condition playbooks.
• Serve as the primary technical and commercial interface with OEMs on warranty, LTSA, outage planning, and technical issues.
• Plan, staff, and execute inspections, outages, and combustion inspections in line with OEM maintenance intervals; own outage cost, duration, and return-to-service quality.
• Drive turbine performance analysis to identify efficiency losses and fund corrective actions.
• Coordinate across balance-of-plant teams to deliver integrated plant performance.
