Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Senior Manager to design, build, and run a greenfield gas turbine power plant. You will own commissioning in the control room during startup and lead field troubleshooting to ensure reliable, safe operation.

Responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team, managing full lifecycle assets, and coordinating with OEMs on warranties and outages. A strong background in gas turbines and project leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in utility-scale gas turbines or 14+ years in similar roles.
• 2+ years of project management experience leading operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary power plant team across gas turbines, balance of plant, controls and commissioning.
• Own full lifecycle: installation, commissioning, startup, operations and long-term maintenance.
• Set technical direction for commissioning including control system checkout and testing.
• Own root-cause analysis for turbine trips, outages, and performance issues; drive fixes.
• Develop and enforce startup/shutdown procedures and abnormal operating condition playbooks.
• Interface with OEMs on warranty, LTSA, outages, and technical issues.
