Job summary

Renesas Electronics’ Power Management team is seeking a seasoned engineer to drive design-in and promote our DC-DC and multi-phase power solutions across automotive, industrial and IoT applications. You will collaborate with product definition, marketing and field teams to support tier-1 designs and define next-generation systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with power ICs, MOSFETs, control loops and multi-phase buck converters.
• Proficiency in Python or C; lab automation is a plus.
• Proficient with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, loads, generators.
• Experience with analog circuit modeling and SIMPLIS/PSpice.
• Deep knowledge of DC/DC topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost, charge pump, and intermediate bus.

Responsibilities

• Lead product promotion and design-in activities, including power tree architecture and system debugging.
• Contribute to defining innovative, differentiated products based on requirements and market needs.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout reviews for evaluation boards and designs.
• Develop simulations of power converter circuits and systems to resolve issues.
• Author technical documentation, application notes and design guidelines.
• Provide training on product usage and DC-DC fundamentals to FAEs and customers.
• Support on-site and remote customer engineering with root-cause analysis.
