Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Customer Application Engineer to join the Power Application engineering team. You will be a senior technical contributor and decision maker for power management solutions in the infrastructure server/AI server market.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration with marketing, software, IC design, and application engineering teams, and includes travel to customer sites to deliver innovative power solutions and to develop

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering (EE) with up to 5 years experience or MS with 3 years experience.
Experience with firmware-enabled products powering large scale ICs (CPU/GPU) in data center markets.
Experience with multiphase DC/DC converters powering Intel/AMD/SoC systems.
Mixed-signal IC/system knowledge and power management know-how.
Understanding of control loop theory and lab testing automation.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to debug and validate multiphase products.
Support marketing with solutions matching customer requirements.
Contribute to system validation of new controllers, VPS and SPS products.
Develop datasheets, performance reports, and application notes for customer engagements.
Train other AEs and FAE’s to broaden product knowledge.
