Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a Senior Manager of Field Applications Engineering to lead a high‑performance team supporting datacenter customers in AI, server, and networking markets. This is a player‑coach role balancing hands‑on ownership with strategic leadership to drive power delivery solutions and mentor FAEs.

You will guide program execution, collaborate with Sales and Product teams, and ensure customer success across AI accelerators, CPUs, servers, and networking systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, digital multiphase power delivery, server/AI platform power, or related hardware systems.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, manager, or equivalent).
• Proven hands-on experience with power modules, digital multiphase controllers, VRMs, and high-current, low-voltage conversion for datacenter platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead technical interface for strategic datacenter accounts, driving system-level power architecture engagements from concept to production.
• Provide expert support on digital multiphase controllers, power modules, and server-class power delivery architectures.
• Perform schematic reviews, layout feedback, validation planning, bring-up, power sequencing analysis, transient response evaluation, and debug.
• Lead and develop a team of FAEs across digital power and datacenter disciplines.
• Own technical program execution for top datacenter customers, including AI accelerators, CPU platforms, servers, and networking systems.
