Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager to lead power infrastructure projects across large-scale facilities in the U.S.

This role will drive projects from feasibility to commissioning, coordinating with utilities, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to ensure safety, schedule, and NEC compliance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with electrical infrastructure, power generation, and multi-stakeholder management, with travel up to 25% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with switchgear, transformers, generators and utility interconnection.
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana or equivalent PM tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent power infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, risk registers and status reports.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, utilities and internal stakeholders.
• Manage utility upgrades, transformer installations, switchgear deployments and electrical service upgrades.
• Lead equipment startup, testing, commissioning and acceptance activities.
