Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Product Engineer, Power Generation, to lead the development, design, and deployment of primary, temporary, and backup power products for AWS data centers.

You will guide cross-functional teams, influence engineering decisions, and ensure designs meet safety, availability, cost, and sustainability goals. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience in industrial or commercial engineering for mission critical facilities (data centers, power generation, oil and gas).
Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop designs and analysis of power generation sources to serve data center loads (diesel, gas turbines, batteries, renewables).
Lead technical development of power generation products for various applications (primary, temporary, backup).
Define infrastructure, deployment, and operations requirements for power generation products you own.
Interpret and develop SLDs, process flows, diagrams, equipment submittals, and performance data.
