Senior Power Generation EPC Scheduler

Job summary

WSP USA is hiring a Scheduler to support thermal power generation projects, preferably in Houston, TX but not required to be onsite. You will prepare and review EPC schedules, interact with end-users, contractors and the energy team, and contribute to a growing organization solving client challenges.

Responsibilities include developing project timelines, baseline and monthly updates, and analysis of claims and costs using Primavera, MS Project and InEight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, business or related field.
• 5+ years scheduling EPC power generation projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Experience developing logical sequencing, durations and phasing.
• Experience in review/analysis of claims, time extensions and cost impacts.
• Ethical decision-making and policy adherence.
• Proven safety awareness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for brown and green field power projects with end-users, contractors and stakeholders.
• Review baseline and monthly schedule updates.
• Review claims and related analysis; assist with response letters.
• Analyze schedules, identify issues and develop solutions.
• Develop logical sequencing, contract durations and phasing.
• Utilize Primavera, MS Project and InEight for scheduling.
• Coordinate with project development team to reflect logic, sequence and duration.
• Incorporate permitting matrix tasks into the master schedule.
• Integrate milestones from owners, EPC and permitting constraints.
