Job summary

SB Energy in Portsmouth, OH seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead utility-scale power generation projects from LNTP to Final Completion and operation. You will oversee EPC contracts, coordinate EPC partners and suppliers, and ensure safety, schedule and budget adherence.

The role requires 7–10+ years in large energy infrastructure, strong leadership, and the ability to travel as needed. On-site work in Portsmouth is emphasized with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of professional experience in energy/projects.
• Experience with EPC contracts and major equipment suppliers.
• Knowledge of power plant construction, commissioning, and startup processes.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own utility-scale power generation projects from LNTP through Final Completion and operation.
• Manage turnkey EPC contracts for gas-fired facilities and balance-of-plant systems.
• Maintain project budget, cash flow forecasting, invoicing and reporting.
• Maintain and manage overall project schedule; Primavera P6 experience preferred.
• Coordinate major equipment procurement, delivery, startup, commissioning and testing.
• Ensure safety, quality and performance milestones are met and contracts are closed out.
