Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET‑accredited program.
• Preferred: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineer progression includes Engineer III, Senior Engineer, Senior Lead Engineer with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead with safety and compliance; enforce regulatory requirements, industry codes/standards, and Entergy engineering guidelines.
• Champion of Causal Analysis; lead in causal analysis of plant component failures and regulatory items.
• Champion of NERC Regulatory Compliance; ensure compliance with all NERC/CIP standards.
• Trend system performance via walkdowns and analyses; identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct project management and technical oversight of small O&M and large capital projects.
• Coordinate and execute betterment capital and O&M projects; interface with production, maintenance, and stakeholders.
• Ensure plant modification process is followed; provide engineering support for modifications.
• Provide project and maintenance troubleshooting of equipment; address issues timely.
• Oversee engineering activities of external firms; develop scopes, evaluate proposals, and support start-up.
• Assist plant personnel on KPI criteria; improve processes and track action plans.
