SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Power Generation Engineer to oversee natural gas turbines and related equipment powering the Colossus AI supercomputer. You will ensure reliable operation and optimize performance to meet the datacenter's massive computational demands.

You will lead maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with electrical engineers and datacenter teams to align energy systems with AI infrastructure, all while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in power generation, focusing on natural gas plants or turbines.
• Strong understanding of turbine operations and control systems.
• Experience with safety, environmental regs, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily natural gas turbine operations and related equipment.
• Monitor systems to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and datacenter ops for integration.
• Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on turbines and controls.
• Develop strategies for energy efficiency and cost reduction.
• Lead root cause analyses and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
