Job summary

RMS Energy is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician in Virginia to support critical energy infrastructure projects. This senior-level role involves leading testing and troubleshooting efforts on low, medium, and high voltage equipment, and mentoring junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of experience in the power industry, strong knowledge of substation equipment, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in the power industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
• Comfortable leading crews and mentoring technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, commissioning, and maintenance on LV–HV equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and verify protective relays.
• Mentor junior technicians and resolve field issues.
