You will collaborate across disciplines, drive design from concept to production, hire new teammates, and ensure on-time delivery aligned with program schedules, while contributing to a diverse, mission-driven aerospace culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles.
• 5+ years of board level experience designing power electronics hardware from concept through production.
• Hands-on hardware development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead engineering teams and communicate across disciplines.
• US Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and grow a team of junior and senior power engineers.
• Collaborate with a broad, multidisciplinary team to define spacecraft power requirements and architectures.
• Oversee design, build, and implementation of power converters and systems.
• Manage a detailed schedule to align power developments with overall program timelines.
• Drive design, specification, component selection, PCB design, verification, bring-up, and debugging of power electronics hardware.
• Support recruiting and onboarding to expand the power team.
• Support production and mission operations on build and in-flight use of power converter hardware.
